"Advance Auto Parts" Monster Jam World Finals 13: Review

I left for Las Vegas, NV on March 23, the show was the next day March 24. When I first stepped into the Party In The Pits I was absolutely struck back in awe. It was the first time I realized I finally made it to the biggest monster truck show in the world. Didn't get to meet Dennis Anderson but I did get to meet Adam and Ryan though. I noticed that George Balhan had his right hand wrapped in medical tape as if it was injured. I didn't meet him to tell him what happened to his hand  but he looked 100% out on the track. Racing was awesome with Tom Meents in Maximum Destruction winning his 10th world championship by winning racing, a huge moment in the monster truck world. Then it was on to freestyle with the main story being the many backflips throughout the freestyle competition. Out of all the backflips and moves throughout the night the one move that stood out the most to all of us was George Balhan in Mohawk Warrior doing 2 backflips in a row, definately the move of the night. Now that's why I now consider him the greatest driver never to win a world championship, or the greatest never to win anything. But Cam McQueen in Northern Nightmare performed his greatest freestyle run ever, doing both a front flip, then a backflip, and blowing up his transmission at the end, winning the freestyle championship with a score of 38. This was definately revenge from last year. Then after all the competition was over, it was Grave Digger encore time celebrating Grave Digger's 30th anniversary. This shit was insane, all 8 Grave Diggers destroying the shit out of eachother. Randy Brown doing donuts with sparklers all over his #19, 4 Digger's doing a 4 monster truck backflip attempt, and so much carnage until all the Grave Digger's were flipped over or could not run anymore. And that closed the 13th anual "Advance Auto Parts" Monster Jam World Finals. Definately the greatest monster truck show i've been to by far!

Ryan Anderson Injures Neck In World Finals Digger Encore.

When I was at "Advance Auto Parts" Monster Jam World Finals 13 a couple days ago, after the insane digger encore I was just leaving when I noticed the digger team and track official running to a specific Grave Digger truck. I didn't take much notice until just today coming back from Vegas to see a video intitled "Ryan Anderson Injury Monster Jam World FInals 13" uploaded to YouTube by MonsterJamFilms. It shows Ryan being carried out on a stretcher into an ambulance. But the good news is that he is able to walk under his own power and says he'll be back tearing it up soon. You are im my thoughts deeply Ryan Anderson, all of us monster truck fans hope to see you get back onto the track an heal up as quick as possible. The Anderson boy's will never die!

Here's the video I found out from.

I'm Heading Out To Las Vegas For The World Finals Tomorrow!

Tomorrow morning i'm heading out to Las Vegas for "Advance Auto Parts" Monster Jam World Finals 13. My goal Saturday is to get all the drivers autographs and have Cam McQueen open up the first episode of the first season of BigfootFanTV. Since this event is so big with so much stuff going on, this episode will mainly be more coverage than behind the scenes (interviews, upclose shots, etc.). But i'm still gonna be asking the drivers questions and doing other things, but I won't be recording it. You can find me Saturday with a Grave Digger shirt, Son Uva Digger/rare Grave Digger hats, black jeans, combat boots, and carrying my World Finals 13 poster which I posted up on YouTube a little more than a week ago. So I hope to meet you all there... VEGAS AWAITS!!!

"Advance Auto Parts" Monster Jam World Finals 13 Track Getting It's Colors.

Photos of the track form Wednesday, day 3 are out and the track's colors are taking shape. Those colors being yellow and red like they've been doing since the Philadelphia, PA 2011 show last year. But other than that, the track is insane!

NOTE: These pictures came from MonsterJam.com. These are not my pictures in anyway.

Track Construction Underway For "Advance Auto Parts" Monster Jam World Finals 13.

The creation of the World Finals 13 track has just started today, and from these pictures, IT'S FUCKING INSANE AS SHIT!!! But it also looks like it's just gonna be red and yellow for this years track colors other than many colors. It bums me out a little because I thought FELD would do something special for the color of the track for the World Finals other than just red and yellow like they've been doing all season since the Philadelphia, PA show back in 2011. But anyway, here's pictures of the track so far. What do you guys think of the track design so far?

Ryan Anderson And Son Uva Digger Is On A Winning Streak No One Probably Knows About.

Now we all know, Ryan Anderson debuted his Son Uva Digger last year in Vegas At Monster Jam World Finals 12 in encores. He then went to Baltimore, MD last year where in freestyle came up 2 points short of Tom Meents in Maximum Destruction, Ryan only taking 2nd place. But last year in Cincinnati, OH, Ryan Anderson won the freestyle, and ever since then Ryan has won every "major stadium" freestyle up til now (now i emphasize major stadium because he has lost at little arena shows, but not major stadium shows). Every major stadium he went to, he has blistered the competition winning every freestyle. He's heading up to Vancouver, BC this saturday with his teammate Marc McDonald in El Toro Loco, let's see if he can keep this streak going. Can't wait to see you at the World Finals Ryan! (i'm already knowing he's going to make the field) I got all my bet's on you to win the world freestyle championship and beat your brother Adam as the youngest world champion! See ya in Vegas Ryan!!

Here's the timeline of all the "major stadium" freestyles he's won up until now:
Cincinnat, OH - 7/23/11
Minneapolis, MN - 12/10/11
Anaheim, CA - 1/14/12
San Diego, CA - 1/21/12
Phoenix, AZ - 1/28/12

NOW THIS IS HOW YOU START A MONSTER TRUCK SHOW!!

Back on January 28 in Phoenix, AZ, Carl Van Horn in Grave Digger performed one sick save attempt in the introductions to start off the show, how better can you start a show better than this. And just to point out, Carl did the exact same thing in Anaheim, CA a couple of weeks ago, but I think he just beat his own record here. Check it out, it's insane!

Neil Elliot In Maximum Destruction at Orlando, FL... BAT SHIT INSANE FREESTYLE RUN!!!

Yesterday in Orlando, FL, Neil Elliot in Maximum Destruction puts on the fucking freestyle of the century, and it's no joke. Big air, white smoke, 3 crazy unbelievable saves all in one freestyle, how crazier can it get. Here's a video of the epicness!

First 3 Weeks Of The New Year Of Monster Trucks: Review

Where to begin with this review... you can't go wrong starting anywhere, the first 3 weeks were just unbelievable. Dennis Anderson goes all out in Birmingham, Al, puts on an amazing bodyless run in Atlanta, GA, and does an ok freestyle yesterday in Tampa, FL. Since were on Grave Digger, in Anaheim, CA a couple weeks ago, Carl Van Horn flips it over, but doesn't go down easy by doing donuts on his side for a good 5 seconds before rolling it over. Neil Elliott was another big story in his brand new Maximum Destruction for 2012, in Houston, TX back on January 14, Neil backfliped Max D giving the crowd something to go ballistic about. In Atlanta, Ga back on January 14 as well, Lupe Soza in Grinder performed a front flip, flipped back onto it's wheels and kept going until he performed an even more unbelievale save to end his freestyle run. And just yesterday in Tampa, FL, Adam Anderson in Grave Digger The Legend performed one sick move save coming off an obstacle, soaring through the air upside down, landing on his lid, rolling back over on all 4's, bending down the back part of the chassis in the process, and kept on going. Ryan Anderson... Son Uva Digger... he's gonna win this years world freestyle championship, he's just been over the top in his freestyle performances. Ever since the Monster Jam show in Cincinnati, OH last year in 2011, Ryan had won every major stadium freestyle competition, now that's impressive with this tough competition out there today. Now let's turn away from Monster Jam and talk independent. January 6 in Daytona Beach, FL was the debut site for Bigfoot #18 driven by Dan Runte, rolling it over on it's first run XD. Now one person who has impressed the hell out of me the past couple of weeks is Zane Rettew in Stinger. He drives hard and wrecks quite easily, it was visibly shown in Daytona Beach, FL when he came off a car stack, almost got onto it's side, saved it, and bent a 4 link bar in the process. Same in Southaven, MS, zane came over a set of cars, got crossed up, landed on it's side, and ripped the whole front end out from the truck. So Zane is a huge contender to face off with when your in the same venue together. So that's pretty much my overview of the first 3 weeks in the world of monster trucks. Next weekend the main show i'll be looking at is the Monster Jam show down in Orlando, FL, I can already see that being an epic night. So til then, my next review will be of the "Advance Auto Parts" Monster Jam World Finals 13 out in Las Vegas, NV, which I will be attending for the first time ever, and will be the first episode of season 1 of BigfootFanTV. 2012 IS SATRING OUT WITH A ROARING BANG!!!
